Jim Schrantz, Senior Product/Project Engineer, Bridge Gap Engineering

Jim is one of the foremost Preheater Engineers in the world. Through the years, he has been a Chief Design Engineer of Cyclone Preheater and Calciner Designs for FLSmidth, Fuller Company, Humboldt Wedag, and Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (the later through licensing agreements). Prior to leaving FLSmidth, Jim was a Chief Design Engineer and Product Specialist for FLSmidth’s HOTDISC equipment for processing bulk alternative fuels in an in-line calciner. Most recently, he has consulted with LNVT on their preheater cyclone design and grown Bridge Gap Engineering’s revenues for the “Engineered After-Market”.
