Background

Ms. Whitehead is an accomplished Account Manager and Logistic Coordinator having cross-functional experience in Cement and Mineral business knowledge.  Ms. Whitehead has a wide variety of experience from Document Control, Logistics, Customer Service and Account Management.  Her most recent assignment she was responsible for all international and domestic shipments.  Previously Ms. Whitehead served as Account Manager for FLSmidth Inc. where she managed several International and domestic customers and had numerous recommendations from customer’s such as P.T. Freeport and Kumtor Gold.

2014 – Present Logistic Coordinator/Purchasing/Expeditor/Project Administrator, Bridge Gap Engineering, LLC – Northampton, PA

Coordinate all freight shipments, international and domestic, including retrieving freight estimates for customer proposals. Purchase and retrieve quotes on parts and equipment needed for projects. Maintain a schedule for all suppliers to insure drawings or documents are sent back to BGE for approval at the correct times so deadlines are met. Expedite suppliers to make sure all orders are on track for the date items are due at site.

 

2013 – 2014 Logistics Coordinator, Cornell Iron Works, Mountaintop, PA

Set up all of the International and domestic shipments. Arrange all domestic shipments and delivery times for multiple customers. Studied Letter of Credits to insure we were compliant.

 

2011 – 2013 Account Manager, FLSmidth Inc., Bethlehem, PA

In charge of multiple International and domestic customers. Received RFQ’s from the customers and researched items they needed to be sure there were no changes to design or equipment. Worked with suppliers to insure they quoted the correct parts needed. Sent proposals to customers which most then turned into orders. Processed customer orders, ordered the items from suppliers, expedited all supplier orders until ready for shipment. Sent invoice to customers and arrange for shipment to customer site.

 

2009 – 2011 Logistic Supervisor B & G Foods – Nazareth, PA

Routed all domestic trucks and insured all deliveries were done on time. Scheduled all delivery appointments with customers. Took care of all house trucks & trailer inspections. Took care of all OS & D (over, short & Damaged) issues including all freight claims. Kept track of all company drivers’ drug tests, hours and logs. Keeping a log of all truck rates and mileage. Selecting new carriers and getting all of the proper paperwork for them.

 

2004 – 2009 Traffic Planner/Customer Service Rep. FFE Minerals/FLSmidth, Bethlehem, PA

Shipping projects and spare parts domestically and internationally. Placing orders for customers, ordering the parts, expediting the suppliers, working with QA/QC before items were released for shipment. Once released I would arrange all shipping to a Packaging company for storage and/or international packaging. Prepared all shipping documents, such as Invoice, packing list, NAFTA, and customs documents on occasion, shippers’ letter of instructions if the order was going with the customer’s freight forwarder.
