Background

Brach Harada has 20 years of domestic and international experience in all aspects of plant operation including but not limited to: new cement plant commissioning, performance and optimization of operations, supply & installation of equipment, and supervision of manufacturing plant personnel. Mr. Harada’s knowledge of all operational aspects of a plant is invaluable to our firm’s process and equipment expertise.

Professional Experience

2012 – 2016 Project Manager – Prime Field Service/Prime Machine Inc.

Project Manager for the sales, supply & installation of heavy parts and services to industrial plants in the greater Salt Lake City area and western states of the USA.

2009 – 2012 Consultant – Bridge Gap Engineering for Polysius Corporation

Advisory position in relation to the service associated with cement plant erection, startup, operation, maintenance, and process optimization in connection with existing plant equipment and its limitations.

2008 – 2012 Consultant – FLSmidth Inc.

Advisory position in relation to the service associated with cement plant erection, startup, operation, maintenance, and process optimization in connection with existing plant equipment and its limitations. Assistance as needed in the recommendation of investment strategies for upgrading equipment to improve production, reliability, product quality, and safety as well as a technical trainer for newly installed plant operations.

2005 – 2008 Production Superintendent – Phoenix Cement

Responsible for coordinating with the engineering department to request (CAR), justify, propose, and execute new projects and modifications. Supervise control room operations to facilitate safe, forecasted production. Coordination with the laboratory, electrical and mechanical departments to ensure quality control and reliability. Implementation of necessary process audits and changes via training, PLC programming, and/or procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.

1999 – 2005 Senior Commissioning Engineer – FLSmidth Inc.

Responsibilities included the commissioning, installation, auditing, factory acceptance, optimization and performance tests and training of personnel at cement plants in 15 states and 9 countries.

1993 – 1996 Internship, Lab Tech, Operator – Kennecott Corporation

Research and testing for more effective methods of extraction and recovery of gold. Production, analysis, and reporting of gold concentration and shipments. Operation of cyanide leaching process on ore heaps and heavy equipment operation.
